PSW Bridging Program

This program is intended for a person working as a Health Care Aide (HCA) or a Home Support Worker Level I, II or III. You may also be eligible for this program if you have proof of at least 2 years experience in the field of support work and are 19 years of age. All candidates are required to pass a clinical skills exam prior to enrolling in the program.

  • Provide a recent police clearance
  • Completion of a clinical skills exam prior to starting the program
  • Provide proof of current CPR/First Aid training
  • 19 years of age or older
  • Tue and Thu 6-9 pm, Sept. 28, 2010 to Feb 3, 2011 (34 sessions)

Program offered at St John North in St. Catharines and Father Fogarty in Welland.

The cost of the program is $895.00

***There is a $25.00 Document Evaluation Fee***

This program may be eligible for Employment Ontario funding.
